Walkers

1st Leg

Robbins Farm to Craft Food Hall via Menotomy Rocks Park and Bike Path

The first and longest leg of the Gallop starts in beautiful Robbins Farm Park looking out over Arlington, Cambridge, and the Boston skyline. We'll start at the lookout in the park, and it's all downhill from there. The first mile is mostly downhill (steep at the start), with a trail section as you walk through Menotomy Rocks Park.  The trail section is not overly technical, but you will need to pay attention to roots and rocks, so take your time. After Menotomy Rocks, the Gallop will head down to Spy Pond while passing the Arlington Boys and Girls Club and begin the long, flat journey to Craft Food Hall via the Minuteman Bike Path, offering up lots of opportunities to give out gifts to pedestrians along the way. The leg concludes with a stop at Craft Food Hall to warm up and hydrate. NOTE: All stops along the course are optional and require personal financing if you are looking for food or hydration (beyond water). These Businesses are not sponsored or affiliated with this event.
